An almost identical pair of entries appears in the chamberlains' accounts for 1566–7 that seem to have been made at the same time of the year (see Chamberlains' Accounts, 1566–7), raising the question of whether the queen's players travelled with her clerk of the market.

The accounting year runs from Michaelmas to Michaelmas.
