Stephen Bland, victualler. A presentment is made (English)

And on 24 September 1617, with the original citation shown by Henry Den, apparitor, etc, he is cited, and, when he was summoned, he did not appear. He was suspended. (A writ of suspension) has been issued.

And on 10 December 1617, Henry Denn, apparitor, appeared out of pity for the said Stephen Bland and at his humble petition the lord (judge) absolved the said Bland ⸢with an oath having been taken⸣ by the said Denn in friendship and at the peril of his the soul of the aforesaid Bland. Wherefore the lord (judge) enjoined the said Bland to confession before the minister and churchwardens there and to certify thereafter on the next (court day). (A writ) has been issued.

And on 18 March, the said Bland, having been summoned, did not appear but the certificate was shown and he is dismissed.
