Edwardus Brigstocke. Presentatur for that the xjth of this October 1607 he behaved himselfe very unrevently in the Churche in the time of the sermon with one Edwarde Towe a fidler in laughinge & gurninge to the offence of many then present as this Churchwarden William Coker willbe ready to prove./ Et 2 Decembris 1607 exhibita Citacione originali per Willelmum Olecorne Apparitorem °citatur preconizatus non comparuit Suspensus. Emanauit. Et fuit denunciatum in Ecclesia ibidem xxviijo ffebruarij 1607/ per clementem Martyn Reverendum ibidem tempore divinorum prout patet Et 4 Iunij 1608 excrescenti contumacia sua predicti fuit excommunicatus Emanaui

    Edward Brigstocke. A presentment is made (English) And on 2 December 1607, with the original citation being shown by William Olecorne, apparitor, he is cited. Having been summoned, he did not appear. He is suspended. (A writ of suspension) was issued, and it was announced in the church there on 28 February 1607 by the Reverend Clement Martyn, at the time of divine service, as it appears. And on 4 June 1608, his contumacy increasing, he was excommunicated. (A writ of excommunication) was issued.

    Edward Towe. A presentment is made as above. And on 2 December 1607, the original citation having been shown by William Olecorne, apparitor, he is cited at Wisbech for the next (court day).
