Notatur that
being a piper draweth the youth of Sutton to ill order on the Sabaoth dayes, & being admonished by the Minister he would doe yt in spite of him.
Quo die comparuit et dominus ei iniunxit penitenciam faciendam in Ecclesia de Sutton in lodiceo et certificandum.

    It is reported that (English) On which day he appeared and the lord (judge) enjoined him to do penance in the church of Sutton (covered) in a sheet and to certify.
